Simlångsdalen

In the eastern parts of Halmstad, you will find Simlångsdalen, a breathtaking destination renowned for its stunning, pristine nature. In addition to a variety of beautiful nature reserves, the area boasts around ten scenic hiking trails that lead you through wild terrain, alongside tranquil lakes, and through enchanting, fairytale forests. The northern hiking area begins at the historic Simlångsgården in Gyltige, while the southern trails are most easily accessed from the lovely swimming spot at Lake Brearedsjön, right next to Vargaslätten. Beyond the local trails, renowned routes like the Hallandsleden, Hylteleden, and Banvallsleden also weave their way through the magical landscape of Simlångsdalen.
