Feldts bread & confectionery

At Feldt’s Bread & Confectionery, there’s a secret ingredient that adds magic to everything they bake. It’s passion. Everything’s made from scratch with natural, organic ingredients. This cosy little craft bakery is situated in Halmstad and greets you with the aroma of freshly baked bread the moment you step inside. The shelves are groaning with buns, sourdough bread, and all manners of baked delicacies. Be warned though. The bakery is extremely popular so make sure you’re there early enough before all the goodies run out.

Solhaga STONE OVEN BAKERY

In a red wooden house in the heart of Slöinge lies Solhaga Stone Oven Bakery. You won’t find anything artificial in what they bake here; the emphasis is on real, honest-to-goodness ingredients. You’ll find all manners of breads, buns, croissants, cakes and other sweet pastries here. And the coffee comes from the café next door – Slöinge Kafferosteri. In the summertime, the bakery transforms into a garden café where you can enjoy the warm sun on your shoulders as you sit amidst lush green surroundings.

Strömma Farmlodge

Strömma Farmlodge is a cozy bed and breakfast (with a café attached) you’ll find in Tvååker, outside Varberg. Here you can enjoy a pot of tea, some freshly squeezed juice or a glass of refreshing lemonade and reminisce of a childhood spent in the country (even if you’ve lived in a big city all your life). Just as well, you can enjoy the rustic environs, buy a few jars of homemade marmalade and pick some second hand bargains at the nearby flea market.

Borgmästargården

Borgmästargården is housed in an old villa in the centre of Falkenberg. Discover an array of freshly baked buns and sinfully decadent cakes all served on exquisite crockery here. A word of caution though. It’s rare that you’ll find the same treats on offer every day. That’s because everything’s made with fresh seasonal ingredients that may change from day to day. But no matter what’s on your plate, you can be sure that it is baked with loads of love and passion.
