Every year, the Nordic region's premier restaurant guide, the White Guide awards Sweden's best cafes, restaurants and dining experiences. For the first time ever, an entire city has taken home the top honour. We’re delighted to announce that Falkenberg is this year's ‘Worth a Trip’ destination.
Now you have one more reason to visit Falkenberg. The city won top honours in the ‘Worth a Trip’ category of the White Guide the Nordic region’s premier restaurant guide. And with its creative chefs, cosy cafes and exquisite restaurant experiences, it’s easy to understand why.
Have an authentic Neapolitan pizza experience at Little Naples, get involved with creating your own meal at Damn Fine Social Dine at the Kitchen in Falkenberg Strandbad, or drop in and say hello to author and celebrity chef Lisa Lemke at Prostens Pizza. Perhaps you’d like to visit to charming Solhaga Stenugnsbageri, have coffee at Borgmästargården or have lunch at Stålbom’s Konditori.
Recognising entrepreneurs who have fostered an environment of food innovation and creativity that has made Falkenberg an exciting Swedish restaurant destination.
Falkenberg has always been home to good food and quality ingredients. Many of the restaurants and cafés in the area have appreciated the importance of using locally sourced produce and ingredients in their dishes. So don’t be surprised if you discover that the vegetables in your salad were grown right outside the restaurant’s doors, the flour for your bread was delivered from the mill a couple of miles away or if your steak came from the farm next door.
