John’s Place is a seaside restaurant in the centre of Apelviken in Halland. How close it to the sea? Well, the windows are almost always covered in sea spray when the wind blows from the west.
The restaurant uses only the finest ingredients the chefs can lay their hands on. So the meat comes from free-range animals and only ecologically cultivated vegetables and fruits find their way into the kitchen. Everything coming from local producers and the food is cooked over an open wood fire. In the winters, you can sit by the fireplace indoors and when the sun shines brightly in summers the restaurant opens up their terrace so you can enjoy your food with a side order of the outdoors.
